Clear reinforces its commitment to Santa Cruz
Within the framework of 006/2025 Public Bidding – boosted by FOMICRUZ, Clear submitted a proposal for ‘cluster’ operation at Las Heras – Cañadón de la Escondida, in Santa Cruz Province. The work plan comprises production restoration, implementation of technology and operational efficiency.
Having been offering oil services at San Jorge Gulf Basin but, particularly, in the north of Santa Cruz for over 30 years, Clear Petroleum has extensive experience in brownfields and strong technical background to face these challenges.
The main vector of the proposal is cost efficiency and optimization and restoration of basic productivity in these oil deposits with the purpose of achieving a sustainable operation – always looking for constant innovation.
‘The key answer must always be technology deployment,’ the company states.
The aforementioned area covers Las Heras region and spreads 45 km to the northeast. It is made up of Las Heras, Cañadón de la Escondida, Cerro Grande y Barranca Baya deposits. The core strategy over these fields will be primary and secondary oil production and well intervention.
Besides, for project initiation, our objective is to find new reservoirs with enough subsurface knowledge to define new areas or the ones poorly developed.
The strategic focus of this initiative relies on: respect and people safety, social & environmental commitment, experience and technical knowledge and the company track record in Santa Cruz Province.
‘Our priority is to achieve sustainable implementation over time to keep job positions, take care of people’s safety as well as the environment and work on the energy field focusing on the development of the country. We’ll be joining Las Heras community and the province one,’ highlighted company authorities.
The company meets the highest quality standards of safety, health, quality and environment aligned with those of SDGs from the UN – promoting technical education, proper employment and industrial innovation.
In addition, Clear Petroleum is ready to boost workspaces together with authorities, unions and local suppliers, to coordinate actions which can hold long-term activities.
‘Commitment to Santa Cruz and the Basin is of vital importance since we are locals so, consequently, we can be counted on. We live and work in Las Heras. We’ll carry out an efficient productivity work plan that allows us – through the restoration & reactivation of the wells – to meet our goals,’ they confirmed.
This way, Clear Petroleum – which at present holds a wide offer of oil services ranging from operation and maintenance till WorkOver well abandonment, pulling & flushby, going through Hot Oil, Wireline and Slickline services – is trying to go a step forward in the industry and in the Basin as an operating company. At the same time, the company strengthens its presence in the province through a proposal that integrates technical experience, permanent investment and a socially responsible perspective, with the purpose of consolidating its commitment to the future of energy as well as Santa Cruz local development.
